Sandblast cabinets are designed for processing parts in an enclosed cabinet, this allows recyclability of blast material. Some models recycle the material directly after it is blasted, while other models reclaim the material before it is used to blast again. Equipment with a reclaim system allows finished blast profiles to stay the same between batches, by removing both large debris and fine dust out of the blast material. The most common type of blast cabinet is a suction cabinet, it preforms well for most applications and often has less maintenance than pressure models. Pressure cabinets use a pressure vessel in conjunction with the cabinet, these systems often times allow more production and more aggressive blast profiles. Both pressure and suction cabinets can have a reclaim system. Some blast cabinet models can be fitted with a track system and sliding side doors to accommodate large heavy workpieces. Blast cabinets can also be custom built for almost any demand, they can even be custom engineered to utilize automation and robotic features.
