A/C and Hot tubes also called climate control devices, can heat or cool air directed to the blast operator depending on the specific model. Most devices work using a quick disconnect air line that provides 80 to 100 PSI of incoming air, most devices will consume approximately 20 CFM of air in use. The device splits air into a hot and cold stream they then direct one stream into the blast hood and exhausts the other stream out of the unit. These units do not filter the air in any way and do not remove contaminates or carbon monoxide. It is always recommended so supply these devices with grade d breathing air.
